The underlying digital pitch processor operates across two switchable layout styles: a traditional, highly intuitive Needle display mode for familiar staging, and a specialized Strobe display mode. The strobe network tracks string frequencies with ultra-tight accuracy down to +/-1 cent, ensuring immediate and flawless intonation tracking.
Overcoming the technical limits of old-school compact pedal tuners, the internal tracking matrix supports an expansive detection window stretching from a low A0 (27.50 Hz) all the way to a high C8 (4,186 Hz). This wide frequency bandwidth guarantees fast note response and stable tracking on extended-range instruments. It easily handles 7-string electric guitars and the low B string on 5-string or 6-string electric bass setups without any tracking lag or display stutter. Dedicated hardware controls allow players to manually adjust reference pitch calibration from 435 Hz to 445 Hz to match specific orchestral or ensemble parameters on the fly.
