For a free estimate, bring your instrument to our shop during business hours, no need to make an appointment. On rare occasion disassembly is required in order to diagnose a problem, in which case, bench fees will apply.
Electronic repairs (amps, keyboards, mixers, etc.) often require disassembly to diagnose issues, so our minimum bench fee will apply but will go towards the cost of any repair done to your gear.
Setups
We provide professional level setups on guitar and violin family instruments customized to suit any playing style. Why do you need a setup? Having your instrument set up harmonizes the instrument's mechanical and acoustic properties with the your unique style and preferences. It involves a systematic evaluation of all adjustable components, followed by precise alterations to achieve optimal playability, tone, and tuning stability.
Full Restoration
Using a mixture of modern and classical techniques, we provide complete luthier restoration services to repair just about anything you can bring us. Whether it be a vintage piece, family heirloom, and so forth; we can repair structural, mechanical, and cosmetic issues to return your instrument to glory. Our aim is to provide you a fully functional, beautiful instrument that maintains its historical integrity and value. Upon your first visit in the shop with your instrument, we will give you a realistic time/cost estimate and discuss whether or not the repair is “worth it.”
Upgrades & Modifications
Whether you are looking to hot rod your guitar with new pickups or you’re interested in swapping nickel hardware for gold hardware, we can upgrade your guitar in any way you’d like!
As a certified Seymour Duncan dealer, we have a great time helping people hone their tone with a pickup swap.
PLEK
The PLEK machine levels and dresses frets with microscopic precision by using a high-precision sensor that runs an electrical current to create a detailed 3D map of the guitar's fretboard, strings, and other components.
This precision, accurate to 1/1000th of a millimeter, allows the PLEK to address uneven fret-wear by taking off the minimum amount of fret material necessary.
The PLEK machine has the ability to provide a smoother action, improve intonation, and enhance bends.
Amp & Keyboard Repair
Modern or vintage, we can service your gear. We have fixed everything from 90’s Roland synthesizers to Leslie rotary speaker chassis.
Want to swap tubes, swap speakers? No problem, pay us a visit and we will be happy to meet & exceed your sonic needs.
Custom Shop
We also offer the complete custom shop experience. From custom electronics to personalized inlay, we have you covered. We build instruments to order. Andrew hand crafts guitars, mandolins and ukuleles, electrics and acoustics.
