JHS 3 Series - Reverb
Quick Specifications
Pedal Type: Highly Versatile Compact Digital Reverb
Controls: Verb, EQ, Decay, Pre-Delay Toggle
Bypass Layout: High-grade True Bypass Switching
Power Requirements: 9VDC Negative Center Only (Do Not Exceed)
Current Draw: 74 mA
Dimensions: 4.42” × 2.38” × 1.22” (112 mm x 60 mm x 31 mm)
Performance & Tonal Control
Spatial Depth & Decay Tail
The JHS 3 Series Reverb provides a massive range of spatial environments packed inside an intuitive, user-friendly layout. The core architecture spans from tight, subtle rooms to expansive, seemingly endless halls. The Verb control governs the overall wet/dry balance, blending the reverb smoothly against your dry signal. Turning the Decay knob changes the physical length of the simulated room reflections, allowing you to easily shift from a snappy slapback to an immersive ambient wash.
Acoustic EQ & Note Clarity
The EQ knob shapes the frequency response of the wet reverb signal alone, leaving your direct dry guitar or synthesizer tone entirely unaffected. Turning the EQ counterclockwise creates a dark, smoky, vintage-voiced decay; turning it clockwise introduces a bright, shimmering modern texture. To maintain absolute note definition, JHS included a dedicated Pre-Delay toggle. Flipping the switch up inserts a precise, short delay window between your initial pick attack and the start of the reverb. This prevents your notes from sounding muddy or getting lost in large ambient washes.
Hardware & Rig Integration
Power Profile & Footprint
Built into the signature, streamlined all-white 3 Series chassis, this pedal optimizes valuable space on your pedalboard. Engineered with rugged side-mounted 1/4-inch input and output jacks, the high-grade true bypass switching ensures completely transparent signal transfer whenever the effect is turned off. The internal circuitry operates on a standard 9VDC negative center power supply and draws a steady 74 mA of current. Do not attempt to power this pedal at higher voltages, as doing so will cause internal component damage and void the factory warranty.
